Base Chakra Confusion: Red versus Black

     Myths abound in the literature of New Age Spirituality.  Discernment is such a gift to the aspiring devotee!

     I have heard so many times from a plethora of different sources that the Base Chakra is Red.  This is not even to say that the Base Chakra resonates with the red ranges of light frequencies.  Most of these sources have yet to link chakras with the flow of light or venture an explanation as to how the chakra works with light.  They simply say the Base Chakra is Red. 

     Throughout my books, The Story of Light, (both volumes) and The Crystal Textbook, the base chakra is ascribed the colour black and the pelvic chakra is red.  Are the chakras black and red?  Can you actually see Red?  Rather than having specific colours, the base and pelvic chakras work with the black and red ranges of light frequencies respectively.  If you are seeing colours, it’s not the chakras, but rather the frequencies that the chakras are working with.  However, numerous other sources of new age writings, as well as, loose translations of the ancient Hindu texts, ascribe the colour red to the base chakra and now this misperception is all over the internet.

     In volume one of The Story of Light, Path to Enlightenment, Chapter 1, section 1.3, entitled, “Black: the Light of Earth”, the black light frequency is described as being Earth’s indigenous light frequency. The reasoning is that, in the very beginning, at a time when light was absent from Earth, only the lowest and slowest of all frequencies could descend into the density of the physical plane. This was the black light frequency.  Therefore, Earth’s journey to enlightenment begins with the assimilation of black light.  The natural consequence is that, first, the Earth resonates with black light.  Second, all grounding is within the black frequency ranges.  And, third, to best harmonize with the Earth, the base chakra has traditionally resonated with the black light frequency range. 

     Why then do other literary sources ascribe the colour red to the base chakra?  Is the source of writing just parroting the vast proliferation of internet perceptions?  I first wish to point to an interesting blog from a scholarly source that gives “The Real Story on the Chakras”.  You can go to the blog article at this web address.  http://hareesh.org/blog/2016/2/5/the-real-story-on-the-chakras  Basically, the blog says that the understanding of the Chakras has found its way into the unchallenged thinking of new age practitioners as a derivative of doubtful translations by a couple of Western writers and a few 20^th century Gurus that are equally questionable.  Finally, someone has come along that has taken the time to actually understand the Sanskrit language before offering an interpretation of the extremely complex ideas that go with spirituality as written in the ancient Hindu texts.  I nearly jumped for joy when I read this blog post.  Here was the real goods to dispel the superficiality of a lot of spiritual delusions. 

     I am also compelled to offer my own explanation of the colours related to the base and pelvic chakras.  As the Body of Knowledge about divine light is the foundation of all my teachings, the comprehensive understanding of how each of the chakras works with light can be found in my Udemy course, which is on the subject of chakra empowerment using crystal layouts (search: udemy.com Roger Joyeux, “Crystal Layouts 3, Chakra Empowerment”).  How could the student ever hope to understand how the crystals work with the chakras, if s/he did not first understand how the chakras work?  

      Back to the confusion. 

     Poorly translated Hindu texts aside, the reader must first discern the origins of the source of writing that talks of a red base chakra.  Is the source of writing from among the souls who incarnated onto the Earth at the beginning of time?  Or, is the source of writing from among souls who incarnated in this current millennium?  The soul’s origin makes a difference. 

     The original arrivals on Earth began at the lowest levels of Earth’s dense vibration and at the beginning of time.  The recent arrivals began in the new age, with no exposure to the extreme density that dominated Earth’s beginnings.  Earth’s vibration in the new age is almost ready for the ascension, and is, therefore, significantly higher than at any previous time.  Many new age authors, who make reference to the base chakra, are recent arrivals from far away planets and star systems.  The Pleiades and Sirius star systems have made themselves known, but these are not the only ones.  The recent arrivals on Earth bring a different perspective, but more importantly, their message is unique to their own home world.  They are here to help Earth through its process of ascension, but equally importantly, they are here to learn what Earth has to offer—namely, to learn about life in a physical world.

     The source of confusion comes from the application of perceptions that are limited to the new age.  The vibration of the incarnate body of the original arrivals on Earth so long ago began at a much lower frequency rate than the vibration of the incarnate body of the recent arrivals.  The base chakra of the original arrival has resonated traditionally and primarily with black light frequencies, but the base chakra of the recent arrival resonates at a frequency rate that is a full octave higher.  The recent arrival’s base chakra does not reach down into the lower ranges of the grounding black light frequencies.  It, therefore, resides within the red light frequency range with limited understanding of the lower black light.

     In their quest to help Earth through written publication, the recent arrivals write from the limited perspective of their own vibrations.  This perspective reflects familiarity with the higher vibrations that presently dominate the current new age, but not familiarity with the traditional lower vibrations that are still very much present on Earth.  Black light, then, is not innate to the recent arrival who is still learning about life on Earth.  The new arrival’s vibration is impressively higher and quite appealing to the devotee who is in the process of spiritual awakening.

    To the soul that has been on Earth since the beginning, the base chakra carries black light frequencies, resonates readily with the Earth, and responds to love and the divine vibration of Smoky Quartz for its opening.  In contrast, the soul of the recent arrival sees the base chakra at a higher vibration level.  The new arrival’s base chakra is within the red frequency ranges.  That is their truth.  The need to open the base chakra is integral to the original arrivals’ spiritual journey, but may not be necessary or even mentioned by the recent arrival, except in an empowerment context, which assumes that the base chakra is already open.

     The vast majority of souls on Earth are not recent arrivals.  The traditional need to open the base chakra, at the start of the spiritual journey, still applies.  Understanding who is proselytizing about red base chakras—the internet, recent arrivals, or misrepresented sanskrit texts—is a major step in clearing the confusion about how to proceed in achieving the spiritual awakening that is still required to graduate from incarnate life on Earth. 

     In your discernment, are you a recent arrival? Are you listening to sources that mimic poor scholarship?  Or are you one of the souls who have toiled over the many millennia to bring Earth’s vibration into alignment for the coming ascension?  If you are the latter, your base chakra resonates with the black light ranges of frequencies, and you will have to proceed through your spiritual awakening, walk the spiritual path, and achieve the enlightened state in the same way as has always been on Earth.

“He sees you when you're sleeping.

He knows when you're awake.

He knows if you've been bad or good.

So be good for goodness sake!”

So be good for goodness sake!

This last line is worth repeating for what it says, but it is also worth repeating for what it does not say. Be good, not to scare away the bad stuff or to put yourself above some undesirable circumstance. Be good for the sake of being good. The universe operates on vibration. Good resonates with good, bad goes where it belongs. Thinking that one can hide inappropriate actions is futile. If one lies, cheats, or steals, the action imprints itself on the etheric magnetic field as encoded vibration. S/he sees you when. . . S/he knows if you’ve. . .

But, will s/he (God) help you choose a better way? Sorry, Earth is a free will zone with the biggest choice in the universe---the choice to love or to not love.

God and the angels are bound to leave you to your choices. They cannot and do not interfere. Are all the choices you have ever made been good, or bad? Without beating ourselves up for any shortfalls we may have had late on a Saturday night, our lives are constantly challenging our better judgments. ‘Good’ is all goodness and love, but ‘bad’ comes in many shades. Cheating, even on taxes, is cheating, and it affects our vibration. It means that the cheater acquires karma that implants codes on his etheric body and sits in his vibration. God never said, “Go ahead, cheat on your taxes”, and s/he certainly did not tell anyone to start any ‘holy wars’. Yet, the flipside is that s/he never told anyone not to cheat on taxes, and s/he did not tell anyone not to start a holy war.

This is not quite the principle of ‘no-response’, but we are getting there.

God, Manitou, Allah, the Universe, Shiva, or Creator is love. God radiates love and sends love, and s/he responds to love in kind. God’s love goes where it is welcome.  S/he honours our choices with love. If we choose love, God’s love empowers us. If we choose hate or the lighter shades of displeasure instead, God will not send his almighty power to strengthen our hate and displeasure. Yet, neither will s/he speak out to dissuade us from making such choices. No angel will come to our door to tell us not to cheat on taxes. No intuitive voice of spiritual guidance will rise to caution us when we spurn friendship, judge others, or think that we are better than another person is. God’s love empowers us when we love. It does nothing when we do not love. It does not empower us; it does not warn us; it does not slap our knuckles, and it does not attempt to influence our choices. It does nothing.

The significance of the universe or God doing nothing (and this is the principle of no-response) is that the individual perpetrator does not realize that s/he is making choices or doing actions that are outside of love’s vibration. His/Her choices determine his vibration; and s/he fits into the world in the place that resonates. The devotee goes to the Ashram; the criminal goes to jail. God’s love empowers the devotee to find the means to experience the Ashram, but the criminal is left to his own devices.  The angels do not offer guidance to keep a ‘bad’ person from his just deserts.

The principle of no-response means that the divine powers of consciousness follow and empower our choices of love, but do not involve themselves with anything outside of love. The significance for an individual is that s/he will never know the difference.

Peach Stilbite, the Healer of Broken Hearts

Peach Stilbite is a healing crystal.  It was created in the ocean.  So what does that tell you right away?  It’s created in water.  The emotions are liquid, are water.  Peach Stilbite is a stone that works with the emotional body.

When Peach Stilbite first arrived on Earth, it passed through the water in the ocean.  Many crystals come to Earth as higher dimensional vibrations that precipitate into physical form.  Peach Stilbite precipitated after passing through water.  The water acted as a filter to ensure that the frequencies that crystalized into Peach Stilbite were primarily the frequencies of the emotions and the emotional body.

Peach Stilbite, in particular, arrived very quickly on Earth.  What you will notice, when you look at it, is that it has a fan shape.  It looks somewhat like frozen orange juice.  Its shape is indicative of a form-energy that broke through from the higher realms to crystalize on the third dimension fast.  Peach Stilbite almost splashes it way onto the Earth.

Being a peach colour, Peach Stilbite works with the heart chakra.  Specifically, it works with the emotional body of the heart chakra.  The primary role of Peach Stilbite is to sooth and align the emotional body of the user’s third dimensional heart with the heart of his soul.  If the emotional body of the third dimensional heart is not in alignment with the heart of the soul, heartaches are going to follow.  These are situations of love lost, and are true misalignments.  The heartache that goes with divorce and betrayal are examples of such misalignments.  In a situation of such profound lost love, the Earthly heart cannot connect with the heart of the soul.  Peach Stilbite steps in to sooth the emotional body of the third dimensional heart, and re-establishes its alignment with the heart of the soul.

When the heart of the soul is in alignment with the emotional body of the third dimensional heart, love can flow.  Love makes the world go round, and it heals the aching heart.  The aligned heart does not have any heart aches.  The person with the aligned heart is happy.  He will be in balance, and will feel good about himself.  After all, the love of the soul is flowing into his heart.  Can’t go wrong with the soul’s love!

Peach Stilbite has another role.  Its secondary function is that it brings the awareness of reason to the intellect to overcome illusions.  Illusions are usually fueled by the emotions and driven by the mind.  So for example, a person may have a misaligned heart.  He may be a jilted lover.  He may be a stalker.  He is someone who is emotionally charged, and creates a great deal of difficulty for the person with whom he thinks he has a relationship.  The emotions are out-of-control due to the misalignment.  The truth about the relationship is beyond his grasp.  He is under illusions, which he will have to overcome to come back into balance.  He needs to return to a state of mind where his emotions are in check and he is aware of reason.

Peach Stilbite works with the intellect to help the delusional person overcome illusions.  It activates the intellect to figure out the problem.  If the problem is with an ex-lover, the realization of the truth might be that the time with that person has passed, and the time to simply move on has come.  If stalking is the problem, the realization might be that self-gratification and terrorizing another person is not healthy, and could lead to criminal charges. Peach Stilbite empowers a person’s intellect to be aware of the reality and of what needs to be done to return to an aligned heart.


Where and how is Peach Stilbite used?  Quite often I use it in crystal layouts where the client lies with crystals on the body for 20-26 minutes.  One could keep it close—on a desk perhaps or even the kitchen table.  My wife and I have a good sized Peach Stilbite cluster at the head of our bed.  I firmly believe that it has enhanced our relationship.  Where would you keep a piece of Peach Stilbite?

Peach Stilbite works to heal the traumatized emotional body of the heart through the alignment of the heart’s emotions with the heart of the soul, and through the realization of the truth by the illumination of the intellect.

     This collection of living room crystals is the result of a couple of decades of working with crystals in a serious way. If you are thinking of starting a living-room-crystal project, start with what you have. No need to get everything today!
    Crystals bring light. The light they bring is determined by your vibration. Hence, what you have to put on your coffee table is perfect for right now, and perfectly in tune with your vibration. As your crystals bring light, your vibration rises and more crystals will find their way into your collection.

     This image shows the core centre-piece crystals. See the large crystal ball in the very centre. Light comes into a ball from all sides, but light is also coming in from all sides of the ball at a dimensional level above the physical plane. Both physical and higher dimensional light is moving in and out of the crystal ball. The three larger clear quartz-points and the two smaller quartz-points around the ball are generator crystals because of their larger size. They push a significant amount of light. Notice how they are arranged to point in a counter-clockwise direction. In this configuration they create a counter-clockwise vortex that causes the light flow to be in-bound. For the person who is not yet enlightened and ascended, the idea is to bring the light into the physical body. Between the crystal ball and the generators, a fair amount of light is swirling around in this space as it finds its way into our living room.

     Going around the table starting in the twelve o’clock position, Pink Halite sits on top of a Selenite slab. I had my eyes peeled for a quality piece of Pink Halite ever since I first encountered it in 1994 at the Conclave of Archangel Michael in Banff.  I got this piece from Silver Cove about 2 years ago. Pink Halite creates its own vortex of out-bound light. It brings the vibrations of love and compassion that go with the pink heart chakra frequencies. Yes, there is love in our living room!
     The Selenite is the pathway to the highest places of one’s own being. In this case, Selenite, with the help of Pink Halite’s love, is reaching into the highest levels of the universe to bring the highest parts of the collective higher-self of my wife, myself, our dog, Merlin, and whatever else constitutes the vibration of our home.

     Here we have a good-sized piece of Malachite (bottom) and a raw natural Fluorite. Malachite works to remove the negative aspects of the vibrations that are flowing through this space. It is a light cleanser that removes the undesirable aspects of vibration that may find their way. The Fluorite (everyone needs Fluorite) opens the door to help light flow from the higher dimensions of the universe, as well as, making a place for spirit guides to come to bring their love and influences to our home.

     Going clockwise round the table, you can see the Fluorite, and now add Rose Quartz and Sodalite. Rose Quartz adds love to the mix of light. Pink Halite and Rose Quartz provide the same basic frequency of love wherever they are placed. More love! The Sodalite is a stone that aligns the will of the individual on Earth with the will of his or her higher-self in the heavens. If your will is the same as divine will, what would it be?

     Here is my first book, The Story of Light, Path to Enlightenment. It, too, adds vibration to the mix. If you want to understand crystals beyond mere cause-and-effect, first understand light. This book is a window for the intellect to envision the wisdom of divine light and to envision the steps on the spiritual path.  No pabulum and lots to learn!

     At the seven o’clock position there is my conch, which puts out quite a sound if done right, Labradorite, and what we call the Abundance Angel (clear quartz). A string of prayer beads that comes from a Shaman we know is around the neck of the angel. Labradorite’s contribution to the table is that of consciousness healing and expansion. You can see the iridescent shimmer of blue, green, and gold hues on its surface. The iridescent shimmer is indicative of vibrations that are quite subtle, as are the vibrations of consciousness.

     Finally, here is an additional piece of raw Rose Quartz for more love. As it is a tea-light holder, it carries the flame to show the way through the darkness as the spiritual path unfolds before the eyes of the devotee. Contemplate the flame and be-here-now.

Healing and Bloodstone

     Healers of all kinds will benefit from knowing how the healing crystals work and how they are best used.  Perhaps you are already an intuitive healer, but now want to learn how crystals can help.  If you are an intuitive healer, crystals will work for you, but your own gift trumps all.

     Healing needs to be understood.  What is healing?  You deserve a definition, or at least a clarification.  I define healing as the acceleration of form so that light can enter.

    

     Let me explain.  Any form in its current state of density, your physical body for example, will work with a specific range of light frequencies at a specific level of vibration.  If you take that same form, and accelerate it so that it vibrates faster, it will then work with more and higher ranges of light frequencies.  When a given form needs healing, whether that form is the physical body or one of the subtle bodies, the implication is that the form does not accept light very well.  If the flow of light into the form is impeded or blocked sufficiently, disease develops and healing becomes necessary.

     The healing process involves the acceleration of form to open form to more and higher light frequencies.  Light then enters and does the healing. I call this “classic healing”.  A crystal that does healing in this classical sense, as I am defining it, accelerates form.  The light then comes in.  Thereafter, light does the healing.  Classic healing crystals are green with a few exceptions.

     The myth that plagues crystals and healing is that crystals do the healing.  No!  Crystals do not do healing.  Crystals bring light.  Light does the healing.  Because getting this right is so important, let me repeat.  Crystals do not do healing.  Crystals bring and manipulate light.  Light does the healing.  The essence of the myth of healing and why so many crystals are erroneously labelled as healing crystals is found in the nature of divine light.  Quite simply, all crystals, with the odd exception, work with light.  Light does the healing.  Because all crystals work with light, what follows is that all crystals do healing.  Loosely saying that all crystals do healing is a truth, but only in the strictest sense of the language.  It is a meaningless truth.  Such a truth offers no understanding about how crystals work.

     Another important perspective I need to mention briefly in passing is that healing is not an eternal process.  Once healed, the healing process is no longer necessary.  The analogy might be where a person receives a cut on the forearm.  Thereafter, she goes to the doctor and gets half a dozen stitches.  Two weeks later, the stitches are removed.  Scar tissue develops to complete the healing process.  The point is that the cut does not need to be healed all over again.  Healing is complete.  So, move on.

     On to Bloodstone!

     Bloodstone is a classic healer and an old Earth stone.  In Bloodstone’s case, the form that it accelerates is not actually form, but rather the etheric magnetic field.  Specifically, Bloodstone works with the innermost layers of the etheric body’s magnetic field.  The etheric magnetic field emanates out from the human body for a couple of feet or so.  If a person is sitting in quiet meditation, the field can be significantly more than a couple of feet. 

     So, how does Bloodstone work? 

     First, the physical body has a blockage somewhere.  Symptoms of a blockage that Bloodstone would work with include physical stiffness of movement, especially in the joints, and perhaps fatigue and paralysis.  Place Bloodstone wherever the problem is located in your body, such as right on the joint, right where the muscles are fatigued, right where the bruise might be, right at the place of paralysis, or wherever there is stiffness.  Place Bloodstone on that spot, and it will work just fine.

     Alternatively, you can place it on the second chakra for the fact that it is a second chakra stone.  If you put a piece in your pocket and walk around with it, it will work equally as well.  Preferably use a smooth tumbled piece for the sake of comfort.  On the second chakra or in your pocket, Bloodstone’s energies are picked up by the etheric magnetic field and taken to the place that needs healing.

     Second, Bloodstone’s energies journey through the body.  They move around; they meander within your aura to different parts of the body, and they pulse as they go.  The stone’s energies continue to meander until they encounter a blockage.  Bloodstone then goes to work.  Initially, its energies simply accumulate around the blockage and continue to pulse.  The pulse strengthens because of the accumulation.  Accumulation continues until the pulses become strong enough to actually hammer their way through the density in the etheric magnetic field.  This is Bloodstone’s version of accelerating form.  Upon busting up the blockage, Bloodstone’s frequencies and the frequencies of the local area rush in to work their healing magic.  Because of the pulsing and hammering, I call Bloodstone the sledgehammer of the crystal world. 

     Bloodstone’s second chakra vibration is relatively low on the scale of high and low.  The density that it works to overcome is also lower on the scale.  The healing that Bloodstone offers applies to quite physically dense areas of the body.  Most often, a healing from Bloodstone is apparent to the stone’s user.  Bloodstone is an effective old-Earth, classic-healer that works directly with the etheric magnetic field to heal physical maladies.

     Healing with light is subtle and should never be used as a substitute for sound advice from professional medical practitioners.

Community Activation

     “I know you, you know me.’ These are the words of a song that sticks in my mind. What song? What meaning? Yet, they are exactly the words to start off this article on community. If I know you and you know me, we share community. We also share mutual trust, respect, and appreciation for what I am and what you are. Community is the essence of what we do together.

     Well, our blond dog barked at the neighbour across the fence, so I knew right away that it was time to say hello again. Our dog needed to know that I knew my neighbour and all was well. The neighbour and I are part of an easily recognizable community. In fact, the community club building for the neighbourhood is about two blocks away. If we had kids, I am sure we would know our neighbourhood much better. As it is, we live in a cul-d-sac and have great relations with the immediate neighbours.

     My job does not involve being closeted in front of the computer; and I work in close proximity with many of my coworkers. We form a community with trust, respect, and appreciation. We know each other within the parameters of our employment.

     The term “spiritual community” seems so natural to say, yet my spiritual community has always included individuals from around the globe. They reinforce the inspirations in my life to rise higher to take my vibration another step.

     Communities abound. The quilters, the photographers, the hockey fans, the union, the computer group, and more! Each rallies individuals around a theme that promotes trust, respect, and appreciation. In our ever-expanding awareness and ever-shrinking world, the reach of many communities now extends into global consciousness. As members with a spiritual element, we have the opportunity to bring our example of conscious living to each of the venues of differing communities to which we belong. Through our own joy, happiness, contentment, peace, and love, we are the channels for a better way. Our next step would be to recognize and activate ourselves as the examples of the way forward for anyone who would join with us in community.

Crystal Layouts …Power Up…

     I’d like to discuss some of the variations that can be employed to do Crystal Layouts.  The first one, and the one I wish to discuss in this article, is, colloquially speaking, the ‘Power Up’ Layout.  Have you worked with crystals before?  If not, this is not the layout to start with.  Power Up layouts are for the old salt, who has lots of crystals and uses them on a regular basis.  If you are a crystalholic, read on!

     In this layout, you use lots of crystals to bring lots of light.  I suggest at least 10 six-sided Clear Quartz Points evenly spaced on each side of the body, along with a sizable Quartz Generator at both the head and the feet.  Usually when you place Clear Quartz Points around your body, they will be pointing inward.  This means the light the crystals bring is directed into your body.   Another suggestion is to place more Clear Quartz Points along your midline at each of the chakras, or even on and between the chakras.  Wow, lots of crystals and lots of light!!

     Normally, crystals placed on the upper chakras are optimal when pointed downward, and on the lower chakras pointed upward, both in the direction of the heart.  In the 'power-up' configuration, there is no concern about the up-or-down flow along the midline.  Rather, the objective is simply exposure. 

    Besides creating a flow inward, Clear Quartz Points can be used to create vortexes.  A vortex will be either clockwise or counter-clockwise.  Which-way-is-which can be confusing, especially if you turn around.  So, to get the direction clear, for a clockwise vortex, place your hand on your heart and rotate it outward in a clockwise direction.  Do the opposite for a counter clockwise vortex.  That is, with your hand away from your body, bring it to your heart in a counter clockwise direction.  Can you guess which way the light is travelling within the vortex?  Light in a clockwise vortex goes outward from you to the universe.  You are giving light to the world outside your body.  Light in a counter-clockwise vortex is inbound, so you receive light.

     To translate these vortexes into a Crystal Layout, the clockwise vortex will have the crystals around you pointing down on the right side of your body and up on the left.  The way the crystal is pointed gives directional flow to the light passing through the crystal.  Each crystal will point in the direction of the next crystal to create a circle of light flow, which results in a vortex.  The counter-clockwise vortex will be the opposite—with the crystals pointing up on the right and down on the left.

     While you are still working hard to achieve progress on the spiritual path, i.e., en route to enlightenment, your best interest is served by bringing light to your body.  Using the clockwise layout, which sends light out to the universe, needs to be reserved for the advanced practitioner, who is well past the novice stage.  Sending light out to the universe is greatly appreciated by the Angelic ones, but it leaves the practitioner in a vacuum with no light.  If you are sending light out, you will need to bring light in, because the body will need to be replenished.  Until you really know what you are doing, and until your vibration is quite high, the counter-clockwise vortex is what you need to do, if you do a vortex layout.  It brings light to you.

     Leaving vortexes alone for a moment, I wish to expand on my cautionary note about the power-up layout.  Because such a layout includes a couple of generators, 20 or 30 crystals pointing inward, and several more along on the midline, the flow of light, to which your body is exposed, will be significant.  This many crystals makes for a strong layout.  The person receiving too much light may experience shock to the body’s light receptors, which results in vibrational warps, uneven body density, imbalances in light reception, receptor burn-out, and over empowerment in different parts of the body.  The person’s vibration cannot handle the sudden, massive, influx of light frequencies.  In the Hindu traditions, the ‘kriyas’ are a symptom of over-exposure.  You would not want to try this with a person who is just starting to work with crystals, including yourself.  This much light is something you work up to over a period of time and after many layouts. 

     The whole purpose of the spiritual path is to acquire divine light frequencies on the road to enlightenment.  The benefit of the power-up layout is exposure to a significant amount of light.  If your body can work with this much light, the spiritual path accelerates.  The days of crawling along in the dark are gone!  Wake up and let your spirituality run with the light—Power Up! 

        The more crystals you add, the more powerful the layout becomes.  The bigger your generators, the stronger the layout.  This, then, is what I mean by the ‘power up layout’.

In the Beginning... Hematite

Sometimes listening to the radio can be amazing, even inspiring. In an interview with a writer, who began his writing career at the tender age of 16, the message from his mentor was that, if he wanted to be a writer, he had to write something every day. I, too, write. But, even with 3 books to my credit, I hesitate to call myself a writer, and for good reason. I am a channel for the foundation of knowledge that came to be two profound books on how divine light works and another on how crystals work and work with divine light. I am not an everyday writer, but I do like the practice of writing.

So, my blog continues.

The thought for today is linked to the work I am doing on my online crystal course, which is taking a very long time to complete. My job keeps me away from home a lot, and lately, I went through a major surgery that gave me a month of pain and a lot of physio to go through to recover.  Progress has been slow.

A couple of days ago, I was working on the presentation for the crystal Hematite.

Many people know Hematite as Alaska diamond. It is black and shiny and can be worked to a smooth finish in just about any shape the stone cutter might wish. Hematite is the stone for the person who is endeavouring to start the spiritual path. It is the stone for bringing the first light frequencies on the road to enlightenment. It is the stone for bringing the first frequencies to whatever material form or mass that has no light. In the beginning, there was Hematite.

Hematite is the stone with which to begin bringing light into form because it works with the black light frequency range. Yes, friends, there is black light frequencies. These are the lowest and slowest frequencies on Earth. Black light will always be the very first frequency to find its way into material form or mass for that very reason. A mass without light is also the lowest and slowest vibration. To be compatible, the first light to come to the mass also needs to be the lowest and slowest vibration.

The discussion that goes with empowering form with light will have to wait for another day, but to begin the empowerment, Hematite provides the first frequencies, which of necessity are black light frequencies.

In the beginning, use Hematite.

2016 Solstice: Empowering the Earth’s Light Energy Grid

    The Solstice that marks the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere also marks the empowerment of the Earth’s energy grids, also in the northern hemisphere.  The 2016 Solstice was especially empowering because of the occurrence of the full Moon at the same time.

    The time of the full Moon was 1302h UTC, and the time of the Solstice was 2234h UTC.  The fact that the zenith of the Moon was slightly ahead of the zenith of the Sun just adds to the significance, as I will explain later.

    Understanding how the Solstice plays a role in Earth’s empowerment is a bit like a puzzle.  There are a few pieces that need to be explained for the event to make sense.  First up, the Sun is the inter-dimensional portal through which the vast majority of the divine light coming from the higher realms finds its way into our Solar System.  (reference: The Story of Light, Through Heaven’s Gate (volume 2), Chapter 9.1 “Portals of Light: The Sun”)  The Sun looks like a ball of fire because higher dimensional light collects at the opening as it pours through.

    Second up, because we are in a physical world, physical properties apply.  The role of the full Moon is to create a physical gravitational magnetic pull.  Every planet offers some amount of magnetic pull, which gives effect to the astrological aspects of conjuncts, trines, squares, and so on.  When the Moon aligns directly opposite the Sun (conjunction or full Moon), its effect: to increase the magnetic pull of divine light coming through the Sun, is greater than at any other time.  (For general interest on this same topic, you may wish to see the role of Mercury, also in volume two, Chapter 10.1: “Mercury-Sun-Arcemedus Alignment”.)  The Moon ensures that more light comes.  The timing of being slightly ahead of the Solstice makes the process especially optimal.

    Third, the energy grids on Earth are a network of energy light stations (also see Volume 2, chapter 12, “Light Stations”) and energy corridors. Through these stations and corridors, the divine light, to which the Earth is exposed, travels.  Earth’s grids can be compared to the human body’s chakras and chakra distribution systems.  Energy for empowerment is distributed through both these systems. 

    Fourth, the northern hemisphere, more so than the southern, receives more of the Sun’s incoming light because of the angle of the Earth’s tilt.  As a consequence, the northern hemisphere has a more evolved and developed energy grid network.  It is better able to capture and assimilate the divine light to which the Earth is exposed.

    Fifth, again, because we are on a physical world, physical time dictates.  The greatest amount of light comes immediately at the time of the zenith of the Solstice.  The greatest benefit, however, occurs in the week or so following the Solstice.  Time is needed for the light coming from the Sun to find its way into the light stations and energy corridors.  Time is also needed for the light to charge and empower the physical mass of the Earth.

    What light will the 2016 Solstice bring?  Absolutely... the light coming to Earth is strictly consistent with the Earth’s current vibration.  There are light frequencies that are higher and frequencies that are lower, but the range of divine light frequencies that are attracted to the Earth are limited to exactly what the planet’s vibration allows.

    In conclusion, 2016’s northern Summer Solstice stands among the more memorable solstice-events involving the Earth’s light acquisition.  The full Moon alignment adds significantly to the planetary magnetic pull of divine light to our planet at the moment of its greatest flow.

Choosing Your First Crystal

A good friend recently asked: “What crystal should I get if I am just starting out on my spiritual path?”

Well…..   I have to ask a question in return!

Do you know love?  What do you know about love?  Is love a big or little part of your life?
Ok, so that was several questions and I will need to explain why love is so important.

The spiritual path starts with love.  To get on the spiritual path, a person needs to make a series of choices that show he or she knows love.  There is a lead up to the moment of spiritual opening.  Love is the lead.  Love is the fire-wall that ensures that only persons with love can rise to spiritual attainment.  Because spiritual life involves a much greater connection with the higher self, the soul, and God's universe in the higher dimensions, love is a prerequisite.  Would connecting with the soul be possible for someone that does not choose love?  The short answer is: no!  Would you want persons, who would not be willing to choose love, to be wielding the energies of the soul?  Love, then, is the key to finding your way onto the spiritual path. There is no compromise here.

The best crystal for empowering a person with love is Rose Quartz.  Rose Quartz is the self-love stone.  It is not intended for projecting love out into the world.  It is not for placing a force field of love around your body.  It is not directly a healing crystal.  It works to strengthen the love you have within.  It combines the love that you have within with the love of divine origin.  The resulting combined love is a new and higher vibration of love that then becomes available to you.  Being a higher vibration, it raises your vibration and raises the love vibration you have.  Rose Quartz is the stone to boost your love and solidify your place on the spiritual journey.

There are many other stones that would be beneficial for the newly-minted devotee.  Primary among these would be six-sided clear Quartz points and Smoky Quartz.  First, clear Quartz brings in the full spectrum of divine light frequencies.  Consider that the purpose of the spiritual path is to bring you to enlightenment.  Ever-so-simple, to be enlightened, you need light frequencies. Second, Smoky Quartz works to open the base chakra for the release of the soul-seed light, which marks the official beginning of the spiritual path.  It is the initiate’s stone for raising the kundalini.  The base chakra, soul-seed, and Smoky Quartz are covered in detail in my books.

So, the answer to the question of which crystals to get first is: Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz points, and Smoky Quartz.

Psychic Predictions

When a psychic or anyone else attempts to discern the future through prediction, that person is projecting his or her intuition outward from the now-moment.  Earth is limited to here and now.  So, predictions can only be made in the here and now.  One cannot step outside of the now moment, transcend into the “then” moment, and return with a scoop on future events.  As vibrations in one now-moment will always be different from the next or past now-moments, projections into the future will have entirely different vibrations as well.

Predictions are not false.  They are correct for the moment that they were made.  Because they project into a time and space that will have changed by the time the moment of the prediction arrives, the possibilities predicted will have changed as well.  Even a single choice made by a key player in the outcome of events that does not align with the prediction will send the prediction in an entirely different direction.  In the past, the enlightened growth of the Earth was quite slow.  Therefore, changes were minimal.  In a world that changes very little, predictions can be accurate because the now-moment and the predicted-moment are very similar.  In our current time period, enlightened growth is very rapid.  Changes are constant and significant.  The now-moment and the predicted-moment are not at all alike.

While Nostradamus was able to predict the future accurately in the 16th century, because the world was almost unchanging, the psychic in today՚s world has very little chance.  The 21st century and our choices are constantly in flux making predictions highly inaccurate.

The Negative Entity

I recently received a query about unlit souls—persons with no light.  The question arose from the section entitled “The Negative Entity”, which can be found in my second volume, The Story of Light, Through Heaven’s Gate, in Chapter 2, “Into the Void”.  The query came from a person who was concerned that her sister’s husband fit the description of “the negative entity”.  From the information given and the background of the person involved, I was happy to offer that the likelihood of the husband being a negative entity was infinitesimally small.  So, then, what is a negative entity?

As with all of what I write, the depth is quite significant.  Careful reading is required; and multiple readings are suggested.  The passage about the unlighted entity comes just ahead of Chapter 3 on disconnected souls, entitled: “Lost Souls”.  Upon a single reading of The Story of Light, Through Heaven’s Gate, I can appreciate that the reader might merge the information of the two sections, “Lost Souls” and “The Negative Entity”, to come out with a skewed perception that does not differentiate between the two. The Lost Soul is not a Negative Entity.

“The Negative Entity”, refers to exactly that: the negative entity.  The negative entity is not a soul. Truth is! That is, negative implies the negation of truth. Husbands, and any other persons for that matter, can be negative entities, but are not likely to be so.  The chances are, again, infinitesimally small.  Incarnate persons, husbands included, are the extensions of souls, but not souls of themselves.  The “negative entity”, on the other hand, occupies a physical body and has consciousness, but is void of a soul.  It is not connected to a soul either.  It is an entity defined by the absence of a soul.

So, how does that happen?  Read on!

On its own, the negative entity is also void of light.  However, the negative entity, as does any normal person, needs divine light and energy to survive.  But, in stark contrast to a normal person, the light that the negative entity does possess is not its own.  The negative entity attracts light through its negative polarity from other sources of light, which are usually other people.  It has some light, just not from any soul presence.  The amount and quality of the light it does possess is limited to what it can leech from whatever source is available.

Let’s take the explanation further by shifting into some background knowledge.

From Chapter 13, “Basic Involvement of the Soul”, in volume 2, The Story of Light, Through Heaven’s Gate, firstly, persons are the extensions of their souls, and second, souls are the manifest creations of higher souls and, inevitably the Godhead.  Taking both points at once, the Godhead creates souls, which create lesser souls, which create even lesser souls, which create incarnations—you and me.  The hierarchy of souls is outlined in Chapter 13 and can be found in other literary sources, perhaps with minor variations.  A primary observation from this section is that there is a lineage of souls originating at the Godhead.  As such, the incarnate person is connected to his or her soul.  Souls are connected at each level to souls at the next higher level.  The highest souls are connected to the Godhead at the centre of creation.  There is no break in the line of connection leading to the Godhead.

The next piece in the puzzle comes from Chapter 3 in volume 2, entitled: “Lost Souls”.  Lucifer is among the “lost souls”.  If you wish to look at his story, this section provides a very different understanding of his plight and eternal journey back to the light than you might find anywhere else.  To very briefly summarize this section, the most devoted beings within the Godhead’s angelic kingdom participated in a failed experiment at the very beginning of the sojourn into third dimensional consciousness.  The hope, which turned out to be hopeless, involved severing the connection to the Godhead in an effort to take divine light deeper into third dimensional physicality.  Not having a connection to the Godhead turned out to be a major folly among the enlightened beings of Godhead’s angelic legions.  Indeed, these souls lost their way!  The point is that the disconnection between the Godhead and souls and lesser souls is a distinct possibility.  So, what does disconnection mean at the incarnate level?

Let’s start with the moment a soul connects to a person’s body, and then look at the disconnection.  From my first volume, The Story of Light, Path to Enlightenment, towards the end of Chapter 2, “The Etheric Body”, in the section entitled, “Miracle of Birth”, the soul enters the human body immediately following the exit of the foetal body from the womb.  Birth makes the separation of the foetus from the mother a reality.  One could say the soul comes upon the first breath.  Thereafter, the foetus becomes a complete person.  The need for separation is explained in this section (if you wish to look it up) and is crucial to the moment-of-entry of the soul.

 No matter what those with a ‘quasi-enlightened’ perception might have us believe, not all on Earth is exactly as it is supposed to be.  Not all is perfect—perfectly imperfect perhaps, but certainly not perfectly perfect!  (A person can always twist the definition to create oneߴs own meaning.) Much imperfection abounds.  Birth, for example, produces numerous anomalies such as cleft pallets, congenital heart defects, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and more.  Birth can also be a problem for the soul.  The soul experiences problems similar to the problems encountered when light frequencies come to the Earth.   Divine light frequencies that cross the threshold from higher dimensions to the third dimensional physical plane are coming from a place of very high and subtle vibration and are entering a significantly lower and denser vibration.  They often become damaged, warped, or distorted in any manner of ways.  (Please see The Story of Light, Path to Enlightenment, sections 1.8 and 1.9 of Chapter 1, especially the list of problems encountered by the yin/yang aspects of light frequencies in their attempts to reunite.)  Similarly, the vibration of the soul is high and subtle and the vibration of the foetal body is physical and, therefore, low and dense.  The contrast is intense.

 Unfortunately, when the soul enters the foetal body, upon separation from the mother’s body at the moment of birth, it sometimes misses.  The vibrational differences are, at times, too great to make the entry possible.  The foetal body is born, but the soul fails to merge into it.  The result is the negative entity.  The 'person' is physically complete, but has no soul presence.  Very few of such births last beyond a few days, but some make it into adult life.

Negative entities survive on the energy of lighted persons with whom they share proximity.  The entity’s parents would count among the first of these persons following birth.  Other persons contribute energy to the negative entity along the way.  The physical negative soul-less person survives because it exits the womb already adapted to and part of the physical world.  In each case, as explained in the section “The Negative Entity”, the negative entity takes on the demeanour of the person from whom the energy is acquired.  He or she reflects or mirrors the lighted soul-connected person’s energy to project a false personality.  Essentially, the negative entity is operating on the donor’s energy and light, and therefore, presents to the world in patterns empowered by the characteristics of that energy and light.  The negative entity might appear to be honest, for example, because it is functioning with the honest vibrations of the donor’s energy and light.

The negative entity functions like any other person, but without a soul.  Normally, the soul provides the energy and light required for development into personhood, but with the negative entity, that energy comes from other persons.  ‘Psychic vampire’ may be a term that would apply.  The life of the negative entity is entirely dependent on light from other persons and is, therefore, a very precarious existence.  Hence, life-span is usually very short, and the numbers of negative entities is quite small.

For a normal soul-connected person, and especially one with a spiritual life where conscious awareness of spirituality is in play, the chance of coming into contact with a negative entity is almost zero.  Vibration harmonizes with vibration of like characteristics.  For a spiritual person, being in the presence of a negative entity is highly unlikely.  Further, having a meaningful relationship with a negative entity cannot happen in the first place, and being married to one is almost impossible.  The two vibrations just would not fit.

If a soul-connected person thinks that a negative entity is in his or her life, the more likely scenario is that the stages of evolutionary spiritual development are noticeably different.  One person is well connected to his or her soul, guides, and angels and is an old or even an ascended soul, while the other person is poorly connected and a young or even baby soul. Young, neo-nate, or baby souls struggle to make the connection to their incarnations. If that were the case, the person of the young soul would be leeching the energy and light of the person of the old soul in a manner similar to the negative entity. The problem, however, would not be anywhere as severe.  Perhaps the old soul is the young soul’s mentor for this lifetime, as the young soul progresses through its maturity on Earth.  The old soul may also be serving as a channel for the light as the young soul learns how to bring its light to its incarnation.  The hidden answer lies in love.  Let your heart be your guide.

Even in the most severe case, negative entities are not strong.  They depend on the energy they get from others, and therefore, can only be as strong as that person’s energy allows.   However, if the soul-connected person allows fear, deceit, judgment, or any other negative vibration to complicate his or her own vibration, the presence of negativity gives the negative entity a welcome-mat to steal away energy and light.  So, fear not, and all will then be well.
